Wearable voltage-sensing alarms worn on the wrist like a watch that give an audible warning when approaching a live line.

Wrist-type voltage-sensing alarms are personal safety devices worn on the wrist like a watch that give an audible warning when the wearer approaches a live conductor. They are also known as wearable voltage detectors or wrist proximity alarms. They reduce the risk of approaching an unnoticed live section while working with the hands free.
HASEGAWA's HXW-6 series of wrist proximity alarms comprises two models: the HXW-6W (AC 1–42 kV) for medium-voltage cubicle and panel work, and the HXW-6WL (AC 400 V – 22 kV), which is also sensitive to low voltage. The right model is chosen according to the lowest voltage level you will work on.
Proximity alarms are auxiliary warning devices; the absence of voltage must always be verified with a suitable voltage detector. For selection and use, see our guide What Is a Proximity Alarm?, or contact us for help choosing a model.
