We supply genuine HASEGAWA electrical safety equipment from Türkiye to utilities, industrial sites, railway operators and electrical contractors across Europe. Every order is dispatched from Türkiye by HASEGAWA Türkiye, the official HASEGAWA distributor in Türkiye.
How an order to Europe works
- Request a quotation. Send the models and quantities through the quote form or the Request a Quote button on any product page. Tell us the delivery address, your preferred delivery terms and, if you have one, your EORI and VAT identification number.
- Receive the quotation. It states the price, the delivery terms (Incoterms), the carrier, the lead time and the payment terms for your order.
- Confirm the order. We prepare the commercial invoice and the shipping documents.
- Dispatch and tracking. We pack the goods for international transport and send you the tracking number by e-mail.
Delivery terms and lead times
- Incoterms, carrier and lead time are agreed individually in each quotation; we do not apply a fixed delivery schedule.
- Items held in stock are dispatched faster than items ordered from the manufacturer in Japan. The quotation always shows which applies.
- Made-to-order products, such as custom earthing equipment or railway earthing hooks, have their own lead time, stated at the quotation stage.
- Long items such as transmission line earthing rods and disconnector operating rods are shipped as bulky freight; their packed length and weight are taken into account in the freight quotation.
Shipping to the European Union: the EU–Türkiye Customs Union
Türkiye and the European Union form a customs union for industrial products. Whether a shipment qualifies for customs duty relief depends on the goods and the accompanying documents, and is assessed by the customs authority in the country of import. Ask your customs broker if you need a definitive answer for your shipment.
The customs union removes duties, not import formalities or taxes:
- The importer still makes an import declaration in the country of destination; an EORI number is normally required for this.
- Import VAT is payable in the country of import at that country's rate. VAT-registered businesses can usually recover it under their national rules.
- Couriers and forwarders may charge their own fee for customs clearance.
Shipping to Switzerland, Norway, the United Kingdom and other non-EU countries
These countries are not part of the EU–Türkiye Customs Union. Import duties and taxes are determined by the destination country's customs tariff and any trade agreement that applies to the goods. We provide the commercial invoice and shipping documents required for clearance.
Who pays duties and taxes?
Unless the quotation states otherwise, the importer is responsible for customs clearance in the country of destination and for any customs duties, import VAT and other charges payable on import.
Shipping documents
Depending on the destination and the agreed terms, a shipment is accompanied by:
- Commercial invoice issued by HASEGAWA Türkiye
- Packing list
- Transport document (air waybill, courier waybill or CMR)
